It’s been a crazy week. Lots of packing and unpacking. Life got a bit hectic but I’m still trying to keep my routine, well at least as much as I can.
I try to start my day with celery juice. That’s not hard if I actually get up when my alarm rings. I’ve changed my alarm lately to 7 am instead of 6 am. I feel really tired and it’s a challenge to get up that early. On some days, even 7 am doesn’t work. But that’s ok I know we’ve been working really hard on the new house and also stayed up longer than usual. Hopefully, we will figure out our new routine soon and everything will go back to normal.
My Full Circle Home order finally has arrived! I got their dish brush at my local store and I loved it. So when the time to order a replacement came I had to get some extra stuff 😀
I got a glass cleaner which is kind of weird in use, not sure if I like it; replecment for my dish brush; sponge with soap dispenser; natural cleaning set – really excited about this one! I haven’t tried it yet. I am finishing my cleaning supplies right now but will definetly let you know how I like it; and kitchen towels.
And another reason to be happy.. I found one of my favorite polish beers!
On Tuesday we had a pretty bad storm here. I am not used to storms and I really don’t like them. I especially hate driving in the weather like this.
I was coming back from my massage and stopped by a store for just 5 minutes. It started pouring, I ran to my car through the parking lot and I was soaked wet! I sat in my car for a few minutes hoping it will pass quickly. I was a bit scared seeing the lightning and hearing thunders but after a while, it got a little bit better and I decided to drive. I was 15 minutes away from home and I had my husband on the phone the whole way back home so I won’t feel that scared 😀
When I got home I didn’t feel like I just got a massage.. I decided to relax in a bathtub with a book and glass of wine. It helped. I’m not sure if it was the wine or the bath but it worked 😉 btw I have the most comfortable bathtub ever! My baths are usually 15 minutes long but in this bathtub, I can easily sit for almost an hour!
We got this beautiful blanket from our real estate agent and I am in love with it! It fits perfectly and it’s sooo soft.
We couldn’t agree on what to do with the room downstairs. We both wanted to have an office there, so we decided to make it a common room with a lounge chair and books. I love the idea but unfortunately the chair we got it’s super uncomfortable… so I am selling it and looking for something comfier.
We finally got our bed and moved from the guest bedroom to our master bedroom. Oh boy, I love that size! It’s the first time we have a king-size bed and it feels great. Soo much space!
Friday was a move night evening. I LOVE move nights at home 🙂 We made popcorn, opened a bottle of wine and cuddle under a blanket. Can’t wait for fall and winter to finally use the fireplace!
We watched the Secret Obsession on Netflix. It was a good movie I just wished we didn’t see the trailer before because it showed most of the movie.
We spend the whole day packing the rest of our stuff from our old apartment. We have it until Wednesday so we wanted to make sure it’s empty this weekend. We unpacked everything now it’s only organizing and cleaning left.
We took advantage of the moving truck and we picked up a BBQ. It wouldn’t be possible to fit it to any of our cars and we’ve heard assembling it can be painful.
Sunday passed by way too fast. We managed to go shopping to Marshalls and Costco to pick up a few things for the house.
We got to try our new BBQ and it was a failure 😀 I was excited to try the salmon I bought but unfortunately, it didn’t taste good, I mean it had no taste at all 😀 We definitely have to learn a lot if it comes to bbq!
The house is starting to look better and better. We are almost done with unpacking and cleaning. Can’t wait to be finally done with everything! Hopefully, we will be finishing the last touches this week and we can actually relax and do something this weekend.
