Monday started with my longest run, so far. I went for 9 miles that morning and honestly it was great! I was really anxious and nervous because it would be the longest run but also because my runs lately weren’t that great. And as you might know I have few big runs coming. Surfer’s Path 10 miler, Golden Gate Half and Zion Half early next year! I was so happy that I actually proven to myself I can do that!
And after run it’s time for smoothie! I deserved something fulling and delicious 😉

In the afternoon we went to spend time by the pool.Jan went for short swim, I was just relaxing with a book.

After long cuddles in bed it was time to finally move a bit. Since we started playing tennis (last week 😉 ) we like to spend evenings on the court. We are nowhere close to be good but it’s so much fun! And I think it’s finally time to sing up for classes and learn how to do it properly 😉
Thursday was another long run day.. not a good idea. I wanted to catch up on my runs because I skipped some a week ago. I planned 10 miles but around mile 8 I started feeling knee hurting so badly I had to stop. I didn’t want to risk to injure myself. It was still really good run tho!
I cannot believe I will say it but I actually liked swimming.. I used to hate it so much and I only went to the water when I got too hot or snorkeling. Since I took few classes and worked on technique I started really liking it.
Lately I either run, play tennis or swim. I don’t follow any schedule, just go with the flow and do whatever I feel like it that day. However I have my long runs planned, I don’t plan short runs anymore. I go for a run when I feel like it. I don’t plan it anymore because I felt like I am burned out from scheduled running. I love running but I decided that I am closing my running season with Zion Half. That doesn’t mean I will stop running, that just means no major races (at least that’s the plan).
Weekend started with new Kindle after 3 years with my old Kindle it’s time to upgrade! And of course more tennis, although it wasn’t my day..
But forget all that! What was this Saturday about it was Queen B!
I bought the tickets few months back and I couldn’t wait to finally see Beyonce. It was a great performance and enjoyed every minute of it! I was excited like a little girl 😉
Sunday was my day off from everything.. I spent the whole day between my bed and a couch 😉 with my new awesome T-shirt from the concert 😉
